ITSSAR Lift Truck Instructor / Examiner

Who is it for?

This course is suitable for lift truck operators who wish to become instructors. All students\must have a minimum of six months recent fork truck operating experience, and hold a\current forklift operators certificate for at least 12 months.

Venue: This course is delivered at our Industrial Centre.

Duration: 10 Days

• The qualities of a good instructor
• Safe operating practice
• Preparation of the instructor
• Planning individual lessons
• Motivation of trainees
• Confirmation that instruction has been assimilated
• The classroom lesson
• The demonstration
• Conducting practical training exercise
• Report writing and certification
• Correcting operating faults
• Assessment and testing
• Written test / Conducting a classroom lesson

Outcome:

On successful completion of this course delegates will be able to instruct others on the competence of forklift operating. Delegate’s names will be entered on the ITSSAR National Register of Approved Fork Truck Operator Instructor.
