1 Day - Defibrillator (AED)

Who is it for?

This course is suitable for anyone interested in furthering their emergency aid skills. The course is made as informative, yet as enjoyable as possible. Certificates are awarded upon successful completion and are valid for one year

Duration: 4 – 5 hours dependant on the numbers attending the course.

Assessment Format: Practical assessment on course.

Course Content:

• Adult Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Use of the AED
• Safety features when using an AED
• Patient Checks
• Primary assessment

Course Outcomes:

On successful completion of this course students will be familiar with the knowledge and practical skills in CPR, Choking and dealing with an unconscious patient and the correct use of the AED.

Award: On successful completion of the course delegate will be awarded AED Certification
